Miso Soup
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp Miso Paste
- 1 package of Silken Tofu (8oz)
- Chopped Green Onions
- 2 cups of Chicken Broth
- 2 cups Water
- 2 tbsp of Soy Sauce or Dashi
Instructions:
- Pour chicken broth and water into a
large pot and bring to a boil.
- Cut the tofu into bite size cubes with a
knife on a cutting board
- Once the water is boiling, add in miso
paste and soy sauce.
- Let the soup simmer for 2-3 minutes and top with green onions
- Serve and enjoy
Variations:
- Dashi powder or dashi granules are the traditional ingredients that are put into miso soup but you can replace this with soy sauce.
- Add in seaweed pieces for a more authentic taste and to add variety in flavor or texture.
